You dont know how much I appreciate this video you made for us yorkie owners. My poor baby didnt get groomed much this year due to covid ( the groomer he goes to was unavailable most of the year ). Finding another groomer that was taking appts for new customers was impossible. I had no choice but to buy a good pair of clippers ( based on your video about clippers ) and the essentials ( combs, shears and scissors ) and groom him myself. I followed this video from start to finish and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised how he turned out looking after we were finished. You made it so easy to follow along with this video and I truly thank you for it. I am now a permanent subscriber. You are going to save me a ton of money on grooming fees. And now I can groom him as much as he needs it without waiting on a unreliable groomer. Thank you!

You're the first video I've seen where you explain that you put a 10 blade on and then you put a two on top of it. I really appreciate this!! I've watched every single video on KZbin of how to groom my Yorkie and nobody explains anything, and you explain every single part of the process, even about the rib cage n the hairline n the head assembly. Love the trim! I’m looking to trim my tiny little Yorkie in a puppy cut. I’ve cut my other Yorkies for 16 yrs.. But a puppy cut scares me for some reason. I sure wish I could send this video to my Petco groomer...I told my husband I could do her trim, but NOooo, he wanted me to take her to a "professional"...even though I have owned 2 other Yorkies in the past and did their cuts. Well, $50 later, all they did was TRY and do her face, did her pads, and nails, oh of course the bath. At least she smells good! Tomorrow, I will clean up their poor work...thank YOU for sharing your expertise!

You are so welcome! Carin terriers have a wire coat and technically they should be hand stripped, but most people that have them choose the pet trim, which can be clipped. I like to use about a half of an inch guard come to do that.

Beautiful groom. Love how you blend in the legs. It’s very natural looking. I’m owned by Yorkies as well. I have always wondered why most groomers scissor off the feathering of the Yorkies’ ears or completely shave them down. A lot of yorkie breeders feel this is the signature of the breed. I was taught to trim the ears the same way as above, but in the yorkie world it seems opposite.
