When I first saw Harry Langdon, I thought that it was Stan Laurel. Both of these legends have similar manerisums and have a similar look.

yes, i thought that exact same thing. i think Laurel might have been influenced by those child-like mannerisms somewhat

The films for that. Era were just learning about length timing and how many reels they could use. To a full length motion picture as silent films were just learning now since they were put on celluloid strait film they were highly combustible (fire flaimable)so dont cut them short Sugar we are lucky to have them around.as they show us how people lived a century ago.

Harry langdon un acteur burlesque même un des plus subtile a commencé ça a presque 40 ans a travaillé pour sennette et à tourné de très bon courts métrages ainsi que des longs métrages. Ont peut dire que Franck capra avait compri le personnage mieu que langdon. Pourtant avec le parlant harry va ce retrouver dans des films parlants avec de très mauvais scénarios . Le grand harry au plus difficile de ça carrière ce retrouveras au scénario et gagman pour laurel et hardy notamment les conscrits les as d oxfords et laurel et hardy en croisière. Le pauvre décédera très modestement et discrètement. Une chose est certaine ces qu' il fut un acteur burlesque important et aussi un impacte auprès des surréalistes.
