1. You missed that the big boss vampire is observing the situation from the arch before the fight starts. 2. Apparently in this universe you don't turn into a vampire by drinking its blood. You need to have a vampire fang embedded in your heart.

The characters which attack the soldiers in the trailer are not dawnwalkers. They are vampires. The main character is the dawnwalker half vampire half human.

CDPR was the Red Engine prior to switching to Unreal

So the cinematic was just CGI render. But the game is being build in UE 5.
