YORKSHIRE BARBEL & CHUB - RIVERS OPEN !!! - Rewind back to June 16th 2022,

At last the Glorious June 16th had arrived & River fishing was back on the cards... Join me & Dave fishing a deep slow section of a local River for the resident Carp in the early hours & then we would move to another faster flowing River in search of Barbel & Chub...
It wasn't an easy day on the bank for us but with a change of tactics we managed a few nice fish out. Hope you enjoy, all the best folks YRR.

It felt so good to get back on the rivers. It was such an injustice, not bagging a carp out in that first spot but that's fishing. I think we need another session there and some piking sessions too. The biggest achievement for me was spotting the barbel from that second river and plucking one out. A small but memorable fish pal 🦈🐟🎣👌

Cracking video buddy. Plenty of fish and it can be hard in this hot weather. Would be nice if the rivers had a little bit of water in them as I think it’s well overdue. Well done buddy and all the best to you in the new season 👍🏽😀🎣

Not a bad start to the season. Well done. Chub are one of the last fish to spawn. I've caught them before on opening day shedding eggs and milt.

Yeah had a few nice fish out, yeah caught a few Chub early season still spawning over the years... hope your fishing is going well mate? 👍🎣

I will be back on the road soon guys, and will have to meet up some time, on the bank, like the good old days at gymes pond lol and then you guys can show me how its done, esp on these little rivers, so yeah cant wait to get back out and get a line wet, so yeah I will let you know, and see where you going be at, and pop out and and have a few hrs, so you guys love the vids, keep it up, and hopefully be touch soon, so take guys an tight lines my friends

I use have permits for river idle and river derwent for Years at Borrowash , not been for years. Do you know any good places on dearne for feeder fish

@@MrCraigfish it's a bit weedy on some stretches still, either side of Adwick Road bridge looks good & it has good depth here... plenty of Chub n Bream about... could try down stream of Harlington foot bridge too as its a good deep area... I fish here alot in Winter n some big Chub n Pike here... Good luck bud 👍
