This is a video I took while we where at the Yorkshire Section of the British Koi Keepers Society Show. We have a look at the Vats showing some of the fantastic Koi that where on show that day. It really was a great day and it was out first time showing the koi. We managed to win a few prizes at the which I am blown away about. I do hope you enjoy the video there was some stunning Bonsai trees on show as well and it really is a great club worth joining.

Congrats 👏, it was good to finely hear some.common sense being spoken about salt, its the greatest preventative product available, I am absolutely blown away when I hear some of the rubbish spouted on you tube warning people against salt usage, once you've been to Japan and speak to breeders you will come back and dump slat straight in your pond.. just a precautionary note as I can imagine people now will go out and buy salt do not add it if you have recently used FMG.

Some amazing fish there mate 😍. I've just got some salt for my grow on as I've been having a bit of nitrite do you need a salt meter to use it properly or can you go on measurements? Also congratulations on your wins 🎉🏆🏆

If you go on cuttlebrook website there is a great calculator mate. I would always recommend a meter. The issue is the length of time it takes to come out and if your planning multiple doses it's very easy to bump the content to high levels. If you only plan on adding it once then you will be fine. @@progressivepondkeeping I think there is a conversion for it on that cuttlebrook page cuttlebrookkoifarm.co.uk/blogs/articles/pond-calculators I use pond medic meter. Not cheap but worth it for me as salt is my go to medication.

Any inverter type ASHP that is the right size for the pond volume mate. All depends on how much you want to spend some are wi-fi or bluetooth all singing all dancing..

@@dkoitv7863 there's 3 in the running remora, thermatec and Crystal heat pumps but as with most things it can be a minefield. More swatting up required i guess. Hopefully your koi have settled back in OK after the show 👍🏼
