Yoruba is from Oyo-ru-Ba. In Hausa-like-Languages "Ba" is equivalent to "Wa" in Iboid languages. Eg 1a). Wa-Tutsi or Tutsi-Wa. 2a) Ba-Luba. 2b) Ba-Minda Hausas roll their vowels, hence Oyo-Ba becomes Oyoruba or Yoruba. That this sounds like Ysriba is pure coincidence.
