Was speaking yoruba to a man the other day...he was very impressed with how much i know..even though i feel its minimal...this is still all thanks to your videos. He asked if i had a Yoruba name - i told him no ans he gave me the name - Jagunjagun. Felt very proud to be given a Yoruba name. So thank you for all your videos so far.

I really like your teachings. Alot of emphasis needs to be made on letting English go when speaking Yorùbá. The old way of mentality on our culture has to be brought to a end. Instead of saying January when im talking I always say the Yoruba equivalent. Ẹ ṣéé pupọ lọwọ yin. Ọlọrun o fun ibukún si yin fun ẹkọ́ èdè Yorùbá tiyin

I remember when we were taught months of the year in year 7 in secondary school I only knew the months by numbers like osu kinni osu keji etc before learning sere erele erena etc. Our teacher taught us this exact same song that's how I learnt it
