But yemoja is different from mami wata, they belong to different cultures. Yemoja( human + fish manifestation)to the Yorùbá; Mami wata (human + serpent manifestation) to the igbo and enivirons. I stand to be corrected.

There’s no such thing has mami wata! Mami wata is a term used in pidgin English. If the igbos have traditional folklore about Yemaja it won’t be mami wata(which is mother in water) it would be in their native dialects. The half snake and half human is also from the Yoruba mythology called osumare. Osumare lives in the water and he’s also a deity, his sign is the rainbow sign. He lives in water and around water falls! Osumare is mystical Yoruba God which is totally different from, olokun, Osun, yemoja. My mums village is Itapa Ekiti and the river goddess in her stream is half snake, half human. They come in different species and they manifest. And snakes are considered her children and aren’t killed around the streams and strangely enough the snakes never bites anyone. River name is Jetti

I don't know where you're calling her from. Remember, it will take time to get Nigeria on the phone from Diaspora. Most especially when they do not have a strong tower in the area or a G5 phone at hand. I, too have tried her number many times but did not go through.
