People who worship 'osrisa' indeed tend to find solutions quickly to their problems, which is why they follow them. Unfortunately, the gospel many people have heard is a false gospel because the real gospel does not offer the easy life, riches, and wealth that people hear from fake preachers in Nigeria. False preachers are offering a fake life to people and offering them a scam proposition that the Bible never promised. The fault is NOT Christianity. The fault is the version of Christianity that people have believed. Elijah, a prophet in the Bible, offered the people of Israel two options: following God or following Baal (an orisa in Babylon at that time). Religion is an anchor of the soul - it is what people will hold on to in times of storm and difficulties. A critical rule of authentic worshipping God of the Bible is: You must worship Him in Truth. But many people worship God because of their needs and bellies. Unfortunately, this would not work, and then they would complain that God did not listen to them when they called Him.
