They start by converting the leaders of their intended victims to Islam, then use their leaders to conquer the area. That was how the Hausas fell victims. They used the same phenomena to conquer Kwara state. Tinubu conversion to Islam resulted in Lagos state conquest. Today, Lagos state has the biggest Muslim population in Nigeria. All that remains of Lagos state becoming another Kwara state is the installation of a Fulani emir of Lagos state. In Rivers state, Asari Dokubo is another convert used to watch the pipeline in South South. l believe Wike is on their radar especially if he wants to be President. Part of the Fulanis hated of Igbos is their inability to islamize the region. They tried using Orji Uzo Kalu with no success, now they are focusing on Hope Uzodinma. Their lack of success in Southeast is why they say that Igbos can never become the President of Nigeria. Unfortunately for the Fulanis most areas of Nigeria are waking up to reject the Fulani scheme of divide and conquer.

Majority of Yorubas are Yoruba first, our parents imparted our culture in us. For instance, in Islam it's halal (legal) to marry your cousins but it's taboo in Yoruba land and no Yoruba will ever try it. More than 70% of Arabs are products of cousin marriage but you can't find anybody in Yoruba land that'll marry his own cousin.

It is not an Islamic thing to marry cousins. It is a middle eastern tradition that predates Islam. The Jews marry their cousins, the sumerians, Babylonians and all other middle eastern tribes. Our African culture frowns at such practice, because to us family extend beyond the nuclear family and include the extended family. Female cousins are regarded as sisters. It is something perculiar to our African tradition and culture. Same with Christians who do practice cousin marriage even though it is replete in the Jewish culture from where Christianity came from. If you have read the Bible, you will see it been practice everywhere in the Jewish culture. We reject it because it is alien to us. It is a middle eastern practice which the Hausa/Fulani as usual adopted like every other aspect of Islam and abandoned their traditional institutions and ways.

Northern Nigeria is one of the forces holding back Nigeria's advancement. People forget that the money they spend comes from the resource revenue of Rivers State! Northern Nigeria is the reason Nigeria is practising CENTRALIZED economic system, which equalizes all the States in the federation, thereby, nationalizing poverty. If Nigeria's economy was decentralized, Northern States would've had to generate their own wealth. That is why Northern Nigeria have stubbornly resisted the idea of decentralization, where each State controls 100% of it's resource revenue! Nigeria's economic structure is the opposite of the practice in the US, Canada, and other advanced economies! And it is all done in the interest of Northern Nigeria.

Northern Nigeria has been controlling Nigeria like it is their private property. After the counter-coup of 1966, when they seized power, all National policies and decisions have been made with the interest of the North, leading to gradual and continued decline of the country. Northerners dominate Nigerian armed forces and National security; they rushed the capital to the North; they built Kainji dam with resource revenue from the South; they blatantly defied the principles of location of industries, and established oil refineries in the North. They don't have oil, but they ran NNPC, and controlled most Oil Blocks. They enjoyed preferential treatment for admission into higher institution. When I was in the University, Northerners were receiving large bursaries, which southerners did not get, even though the resource wealth comes from the South. Northerners loves our crippling centralized economy, whereby they can control the resource revenue of Rivers State. This compelled the country to depended on one main resource revenue. And this practice has finally killed the country. It's too late now.
