this song is about how the man's wife has died already :'( if you see the first time the corgi appears, it reacts to the wife's hand which may indicate either that she's alive or just passed away recently. the second time it appears, it no longer reacts but lingers for a little bit. then the third time, it completely turns away as if the woman is not there; she has a limited amount of time left until she can see her family which explains the lyrics towards the end where suis sings, "only 2 flower left, only 1 flower left, only 1 petal left, spring is ending". another sad thing to note is at 7:39 the husband and wife are together but right after, if you look closely, the wife is gone which means she's gone for good it's such a beautiful piece of work and i really hope more people discover yorushika and thank you so much for reacting

🌱 The graduation / admission season for Japanese schools is the cherry blossom season. Complex feelings such as the farewell of close friends and the hope and anxiety for a new life are created with the memories of the cherry blossoms. Even if I have lonely memories of the cherry blossoms in my memory, they are all good memories. However, in Japan's past, cherry blossoms have a dark history. Many people in the past regarded it as "the cherry blossoms that fall in a blink of an eye = a symbol of manfully and graceful" and considered it to be the dignity of the Japanese people. Therefore, during the war in the 1940s, cherry blossoms were used as an analogy for young people to go to the battlefield, fight enemies, and die gracefully. Most of the children were educated, "If you live and get caught by an enemy, do your own suicide!" It's very annoying for "Sakura". It's too terrible to use it as a synonym for dying gracefully! Super worst! Now, without being bound by such stupid teachings, you can enjoy what you see and express it as you feel it is beautiful. I wonder how happy I am now. I thought so again...

🌱 The cherry blossoms in this MV are really beautiful. However, contrary to its beauty, the lyrics made me feel a little sad and sorrow. The man in the MV also had a stubble and always looked down and looked painful. What is it? ... I was curious, so I looked it up and found that "春泥棒-Spring Thief" is a continuation of the previous work "盗作-Plagiarism". The main character of the previous work, "Plagiarism," is a musician whose job is to make music. He gets stuck in work, steals the composition of his father (a great musician) who was doing the same job, and releases the song. The song is a hit and sells, but he isn't satisfied and falls into distress and suspicion. His heart is purely "just beautiful music" and he just wants to be filled, but the reality doesn't come to his mind. Even though he could imagine that the act of stealing a person's music would destroy even his self-esteem and lose everything. "Everything is gone, all my status and love are gone. The night I see after I lose everything is really beautiful, really, really beautiful, so I stole it." (~At lyrics of Plagiarism) If he loses everything, he can see beautifully even at night, and he is driven by the paradoxical urge that he may be satisfied with the beauty. I thought that the content that resets this situation of the previous work is this "spring thief". Did the main character, the man, see this beautiful cherry blossom and be satisfied? Is he still at a loss? .. The answer is not written in the song. After the cherry blossoms have fallen, the cherry blossoms grow their leaves at once. In Japan, the condition is also given a unique name, which is called "Hazakura". The leaves fall in the fall, endure the harsh winter, and again in the spring, the beautiful cherry blossoms are in full bloom, making people feel the movement of the seasons. In this MV, after the cherry blossoms bloom, until it becomes a leaf cherry blossom, the seasons change, and as time goes by, the main character, he, also has a chance to feel positive. I want to believe so. Thank you Mr. Patrick for responding to our request. PS: It's wonderful that Yorushika connects the story from the previous album (song). Each song has been established as a song, but I didn't know that it was drawing such a story. I'm glad to know this and to know the new talent of the artist.

They actually DID A LIVE VERSION of this song and hana motase (if im not wrong), which is related to one and another. In my opinion, suis's voice is more majestical in the live version one. Yeah anyways, you should check it outt! I promise you wont regret it. They posted the live version on their youtube channel 😁
