This song means a lot to me, someone who I love is deep in drug abuse and I'm in no position that can help them, the descriptions of drowning and spiraling deeper into dependency and depression is a key factor and this song uses those visual keys without openly saying it, I'm glad it's a common issue and not just my friend. Haven't seen anyone explaining yet so I'll try to keep it simple The small guy in white (and the trinket at the end) represents life and torments him playfully (?) The snake and black entity is death and tries to get the boy who's apparently suicidal( see the pills on the ground and how he stays in the dryer until life pulls him out) At the final moment the boy chooses to live and grab life's hand fighting death, In the end he choose to live even through his depression (see the last lyric line) " but despite it all I'm feeling good somehow"
