Yoshi games have a talent for being really easy until you decide to go for a specific type of run. Yoshi's Story is easy until you go for All Melons. Yoshi's Island is easy until you go for 30 Points in every stage.

No wonder I hated this game so much lol. The melon locations are so obscure and convoluted. Abysmal mistake coming from something as marvelous as Yoshi's Island!

Yoshi's island was a masterpiece, but this game was genuinely fun - even with the excessively childish parts. Definitely took me a bit to get an all melon run completed as a kid, and that was only a single playthrough with select levels. In hindsight i don't recall pushing the ? blocks together to get melons

The hearts you get in the level determine how many levels you can choose from in the next world. 0 hearts = 1 level 1 heart = 2 levels 2 hearts = 3 levels 3 hearts = 4 levels.

I don't think anyone would want do this on a 4-Lap run, but Speedrunners could also do Max-Score Runs If so it should probably Start with IL-Runs
