This… is actually a GOATED video. I don’t often click on video that have “low views” (even though having people from different parts of the world deciding to click on a video is awesome). I never really understood the author’s hiatus problems, of course I knew it was because of back pain problems but I didn’t think it would be such a big problem (I know that’s very naive). But after watching this video from you and your personal experience, I know greatly understand why it would be hard for him to keep making this story. For me, wanting to draw it myself isn't that strong of a reason when added by publicly spoiling one of the potential endings. It just scream pride in negative way. It's not like having a team means he stops drawing completely. He can sketch, and the team does the detailing.

One does all the writing of course with Murata able to put someone input, one makes the sketching of the scenes and sketching of the character designs and dialogue while Murata does all the detailed drawing. It’s releases tons of load off of both of them.

I wish more mangaka would insist on switching from weekly to monthly once they have established themselves like Araki did. Of course it wouldn't solve all health issues but can't hurt. Maintaining the grind of weekly publication over a long career is absurd.

Not all anime are based on manga. For example, Evangelion, Gurren Lagann, Madoka Magica, Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, etc did not have a manga in the first place.

I would argue there is a lader to climb as a mangaka new authors get their series canceled fast if they dont stick to their release schedule big ones can take years to release chapters and wont get stoped from releasing also they can do almost anything with the story since the publishers cant afford to lose the series where as new authors may get droped if they stray too far from the editor teams recomendations also while not everyone will want to utilise this big mangaka can higher a team to do most of the work likely at higher quality and much higher speed with way less effort

I totally disagree. Successful mangakas have complete teams to assist them, for example, Togashi himself didn't draw the scenery details of the phantom troupe flashback volume, his assistants did. I've read somewhere that they even offered him to supervise while they draw everything and he refused, stating that he loves his characters so much he wouldn't let anyone else draw them.

…Manga is not pronounced that way. Also, not all anime’s are off of mangas plus mangas are usually off of light novels. Some anime’s are original with no manga or light novel. Usually they have mangas that come out after the release and the stories tend to differ a little.
