How loud would you say it is and do you ride without the baffle in? I’m torn between this and the SC project SC1-R

I think it's the perfect noise level. Loud enough to sound good, but not so loud that its obnoxious or hurts your ears when riding without hearing protection. And that's without the baffle. That's a tough decision!

Sivy's Misadventures yeah. Yoshi has a rep for good quality and SC has a rep for being loud lol. Yoshi said it’s around 100db at 5000rpm and SC is at 108db.

Yea I think so. I personally find it beneficial to start on a used lower cc bike because if you're going to drop it, it won't matter as much. But that said, this bike does have some nice features that make it a good bike for new riders. Specifically the clutch assist that helps prevent from stalling the bike from a stop. And if you're getting a new bike, ABS is a must have, but that's available on most bikes for a couple hundred more.

It doesn't feel too heavy, it's pretty manageable imo. It's heavier than my last bike but feels easier to handle.

Well the R11 isn't compatible with the 2020 model, only the Alpha T was available when i bought it. Looks like they only made the R11 for the 2015-16 gsxs model. They do have the new AT2 slip-on though
