Baseball fans like you are really precious. @BlueSky-tn1ty
@BlueSky-tn1ty 10 ай бұрын
@71 Agree. However, the timing of WBC is just too bad. Considering MLB season is long and has way too many games, most MLB players are exhausted just to play the regular season. They can't activate their bodies too early otherwise they have higher chance to injure themselves during the season. I prefer MLB reduces 162 to 140-150 games a season, so players have more time to recover and play international games...

It is called the World Series because at the time of it's creation, the United States had the best major league baseball teams and talent in the world so that is part of the reason. Their championship was also the most popular baseball event in the world at the time as well. The name was kept.

I think it would be fun the NPB(Japan) champs played the MLB 'World Series' champions to determine who is the true world series champions. The issue of course being the season is already extremely long, but if that got commercial traction and the winning team got a nice bonus perhaps the players would be ok with it.

They will probably say this next: "It's just spring training. They will figure him out as season goes on." But they are forgetting that Yamamoto also is just getting ready for spring training. He is not pitching with his full power too. And he will also figure out the hitters as season goes on.

@themadhatter312 It doesn't matter if it's Ruth Mantle Ichiro. It's 2 innings! They need to see him. But again I think when he uses his breaking stuff first and especially if he locates his fastball he will be extremely tough. I'm a dbacks fan and im telling you I believe you
