Just a quick note here: I'm aware that there are many slight variations of the shrine theme. I do not intend on uploading them. It's not an exaggeration to say that it took me the better part of this past month to get just this "main" version of the theme put together. At least for me, I don't think it's worth the time and effort to go through all 78 shrine theme files (yes, you read that right) just to swap out small 5-second intervals that are slightly different. I apologize for that, but my sanity is important! I'm just glad I was able to get this sorted out!

I like how this keeps the modular theme design that the sheikah shrines had. This allows for the music to never really repeat itself

2:00 to 3:43 is my favorite part of this piece. I first heard it while just standing still, crouched on top of the box at the end. I noticed Zelda’s lullaby is subtly playing during the whole section. This game’s music is on another level.

this one absolutely stomps on the botw shrine theme for me. the botw shrine music got annoying to me on the first playthrough of the game. i’ve got almost all the shrines in totk and i still love hearing this track when i play.

1:45 around here, something interesting happened while I was listening to it. But first, some quick context, I love Terraria and Tears of the Kingdom. And the way how i show love for a game, is I MOD/RESOURCE PACK THE HECK OUT OF IT. So, I was making a resource pack that changes the Terraria soundtrack into the TOTK one. I was working on turning "Eerie" (the blood moon theme) into "Beneath Hyrule Castle." Afterwards, I inevitablely had to go do my responsibilities, so I was going to listen to my hand picked playlist. And then this timestamp came along. Its probably unintentional, given how it's the theme for completely opposite areas, but it does sound like Hyrule Castle depths.

The first thing that rauru and Sonia did as king and queen was the “pilgrimage of light” where they killed every monster in hyrule and built the shrines as a monument on sorts iirc. It’s in the “messages from an ancient era sidequest

Shrines has been one of the things that ToTK has improved over BoTW , and its musical theme shows it. I like BoTW Shrine Theme, but ToTK's are just better.

(Sorry i wrote too much) I know some people are comparing this one with the botw one, but both have diferent aspects, themes and vibes. They both work as a relaxing theme to help you finish the puzzle, they both are beautiful unique(in my simplest opinion) but im gonna stick with the botw one *just* beacuse im still not used to this one and because i always got distracted trying to pay attention to the song😆

The Zelda Universe is far more interesting than real life in fact it feels more "alive" than real life ever does there's a reason I play video games is because reality doesn't offer a unique experience such as video games within fantasy I sometimes question my own existence wondering what's the point if it's just humans. At least in a video game offers its own personal existence that surpasses reality who knows maybe one day we can full dive into video games like Zelda and have intelligent conversations with the NPCs as digital sentients.

Am I the only one that finds the shrines in BotW to be similar to the Tower of the Gods in WW and the shrines in TotK to be similar to the Wind Temple in WW? I always found that BotW was closest to WW out of all Zelda games, but I find TotK is even closer to WW thematically.

just in case nintendo found this video and asking youtube to delete it I think it's wise not to put adsense on every game soundtrack except the uploader is the owner, I'm really sad I can't find full soundtrack of link's awakening anymore here on youtube, I think nintendo found it, but I also think nintendo won't asking youtube to delete the video if the video is adsense-free, as a viewer we also aware your effort to make the soundtrack available on youtube, but I think it's more wise to put a link for 'tip', I prefer pay the uploader a coffee or two instead watching it with ads then nintendo found it then delete my favorite soundtrack from youtube :(((

God the shrines in this game were really bad, but thank god the music for them were great. I got really tired of the Shrines music in BotW but I never got bored of the shrines music in this game. When it comes to music, they really knew what they were doing.
