If you are about talent then you'll absolutely enjoy getting to know these kids. They are "little brothers" because they are the youngest/recent/newest group to debut under YG Entertainment where groups like Blackpink is signed to, they debuted 4 years after Blackpink. So far, yes, most of their title tracks are bop songs, but I cannot guarantee you that their songs will always be hype or party-like because their album (and the upcoming one on Feb 15) has a wide range of genres and they are k!lling it! If you want details please feel free to read them below: TREASURE is a 12-membered boy band from YG Ent. ranging from 1999 (oldest) to 2005 (youngest). The "The First Step: Chapter One" you saw at the end is the title of their first single album, so *Boy* is the title track and it has one other song. It has Chapter 2 with *I LOVE YOU* and Chapter 3 with *MMM* and later on they released a full album with *My Treasure* . You can go in order if you want to react to the next songs. Their concept so far, lyrics-wise/song-wise, is mostly teen crush or about finding/showing/expressing love towards this female entity, while other songs are about being hopeful and courageous, and staying strong and positive. Their company promotes / labels this group as their first ever dance-heavy group, so you'll see that their promotions have complex dances just like the new generation of kpop. BUT, more than dancers, they are actually composed of unique great vocalists and fire rappers. They where the predecessor group to blackpink, and started everything girl crush from 2009 forward in the K-pop scene. 2ne1 disbanded the year blackpink made there debut, 2ne1 has alot of parallels to blackpink. Vocal queen's that have very very unique tones and quality's about there vocals = Park BOM - Rose. And dancing queen baby's of the groups that leave no move undone and leave all fans wanting more = Minzy - Lisa. The difference between blackpink and 2ne1 was the eras they came out in. 2ne1 was more EDM based with growth and improvement over the years. Blackpink is more hip hop based and very very structured in everything they do, there like hyper gloss pop versions of 2ne1 and I love both of them.
