The world needs musical diversity, your sound should be heared all across the world, carry on the good job you are doing, i love your music!
We moved to Australia briefly from England when I was a kid, which coincided with this being in the charts - there was a big introspection in the country at the time, with debates over the flag and even potentially becoming a republic. We learned about aboriginal culture in school, and even did a competition to design a new flag which represented the country more accurately - most of us used red, yellow and black as per the aboriginal flag. I was too young to fully appreciate Yothu Yindi's politics at the time, but I absolutely loved this song, and was fascinated by the language and the culture. I only just found out that the lead singer died of kidney failure - how terribly sad that he never lived to see the settlement happen. I hope one day that Australia can finally treat its indigenous people fairly, and confront its brutal past.

We learned a little about aboriginal culture in my first primary school & I will never forget it. We did dances, made food, bush tucker and made our own huts. It was so fun and felt really really good and I'd love to live that way. :)
