Yotto likes walks in the park, nights by the fire, and deadpan stares across dinner tables. He also likes to produce electronic music. In 2018 he released his acclaimed debut album Hyperfall, accumulating over 40 million streams to date. This followed his debut on the BBC's iconic Essential Mix, to add to his 5 ‘Essential New Tune' nods from Pete Tong, and 3 ‘Hottest Record In the World' selections on Annie Mac's show. Fast forward to his recent endeavors, his 2022 single “Rhythm (Of The Night)” maintained No.1 in the progressive house charts on Beatport for 3 consecutive months, and his London Printworks 2023 show sold out 2.5 months ahead of time.
DJ support has proved devastatingly eclectic, ranging from Solomun, Dixon, Eric Prydz, Jamie Jones, Patrice Bäumel, Kölsch and Joris Voorn. His multifarious remix list includes Gorillaz, Röyksopp, Sasha, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Lane 8. He also boasts a vibrant vocabulary.
Establishing himself as one of electronic music's forces to be reckoned with, Yotto launched his own record label 'Odd One Out'. The opening with a short 2-4 beat loop pitched up to match Rhythm of the Night was all I needed to know that this would be an EPIC set ... it got me so hyped up! The tracklist here is unbelievable. The Yotto feel is the best feel! Deep, emotive, melodic, forward thinking yet nostalgic ... complete with the classic Yotto heavy horn style bass PS I guess the platters were not hooked up to the DJM-A9 in the classic 3-1-2-4 order, so I don't think the little volume flub at the end was his fault
