Oh wow, what a kerosene lamp! What a wonderful treasure with everything. I think as I am growing older I realize it's not just a coincidence, it's a blessing from God. I oh so identify! I love old stuff from my Grandmas. I was born in Red Wing, MN. One of the largest stoneware and pottery businesses started there in the 1880s. And I think my umbilical cord never got cut to there. So I have a lot of stoneware crocks, water coolers and bowls and even dinnerware from there. My sister says I need to join Crocks Annymous. I too use my stuff.

One of the rollers is a sugar cookie roller, one is a cookie press for designs on shortbread cookies and the other looks to be a hot chocolate mixer used in Spain and Mexico. All are fantastic!

Wow...nice bowls. My favorite is the large light baby blue one. Don't be embarrassed about your cabinets. I have one just like you. When I put things away in it I cross my fingers everything else isn't going to fall out. lol

The decorative ones are for rolling fancy dutch pastries, the one with the tapered red handles is identical to the one my Granny used and she got it when she married in 1906.

That was such a wonderful find and what a sweet woman to bless you like that. I'm laughing at the attachment comment. So a question....Have you ever thought of instead of lower cabinets turning them into deep drawers. Ben didn't use the prefab drawers but just the drawer runner parts so we customized the sizes. That's what we did in my Portland home and it made a HUGE difference in being able to store things and keep them tidy. What a greta idea for displaying the bowls and rolling pins...perfect!

I got rid of so much stuff today. I'm moving in 2 weeks into my kids father's home he passed away 7 months ago and left his house to us. It's bittersweet as I raised my kids there and brought them home as babies. His house is small so I had to let go of a lot.

I have so much to say about this video. 😁. First of all those rolling pins are so awesome I love the one with the avocado green handles! The bowls are gorgeous I've never seen any like that. I think it's important to show people the real life situations of our house. It's an encouragement to people to realize that we don't have everything perfect everywhere. But I couldn't help but burst out laughing when I saw the inside of your cabinet. 😂. Believe me when I tell you I have a corner cabinet that goes back so far and is in that shape. I find myself blindly stuffing stuff in there 😂. I really was disappointed that you didn't show us the finished organization of the cabinet though. I wanted to see how that organizer worked out. Thanks for another great video!

Oh my goodness, Tessie! Those bowls are SO beautiful! Too bad you can't somehow display them in your kitchen! Maybe, put up a couple open shelves? A couple of those rolling pins are for rolling out your top pie crust and it leaves a pattern :) The smaller one, I have used to roll around the edges and do decorative "stripes" in the dough. You truly had a blessed day! Well, there ya go! Display those beauties, lol!

I think the very large oil lamp is called an Aladdin Lamp. I have seen a couple and they are so beautiful but very expensive. You are truly blessed! 🥰 I love seeing all the vintage items. The bowls are very beautiful!

You roll out your cookie dough with a regular rolling pin and then roll over it with one that has the pictures. My mom in germany always made "Springerle" with them. A Christmas cookie... I live in a mobile home also and that means we don’t have great cabinet space, I have asked hubby for curio cabinets and to get a large China cabinet and downsize our large kitchen table so we have the room for a China cabinet to hold more canning jars lol funny how my Decore has been changing since I started canning 2 years ago from minimalist to trying to find where to put everything, wish I had a closed in back porch but to far south and our heat wouldn’t be good to store my canned food out there but I could store all my canning equipment and dehydrating stuff on shelves out there freeing my cabinets up for my canned up food, instead of our walk in closets lol

What a fabulous haul...and for FREE! Your idea of using that bookcase for the bowls is perfect. And it gave me an idea for my own kitchen. My new rented place is also a mobile home and there isn't nearly enough kitchen storage...I do collect vintage ware like you do. BUT I have a bookcase that I found at a thrift store. I love it, but it is oddly deep for a bookcase (maybe it's not actually a bookcase?) Anyway, I think it can find a spot in my kitchen/dining area. Thanks for planting an Idea Seed in my brain.👍🏻😁

Yes the blue bowl is and old one. Cause I have 3 like it . I was at a friend's garage sale and got them for $3.00 a bowl. Because the I had got from another friend and gotten broken and I cried cause it was my friends handed down from her mother and was her great great grandmother's. I used it only for making my peanut butter fudge. My kid knocked off the micro stand.
