Konana!! Happy birthday to me!! (from October)
This cover is (2 months late) but one of my most favourite songs of all time from my favourite producer. When I was thinking about what song to sing for my birthday, I wanted to sing a song that meant a lot to me. When I heard Hanatan's cover, I instantly knew I wanted to share this ethereal experience of a song with my viewers as well. BUT GOSH DAMN I underestimated this song so much - this was the hardest song I've ever recorded in my life!! Genuinely a humbling experience... But I did my best and I'm somewhat okay with the results. I think it's a testament to how my singing has improved over the years. Never in my life did I think I could hit those high notes... When my mixer Niu told me how he was super proud of me and this was a mix he really enjoyed working on, it made me feel super happy too!! Jenn time tuned SO many layers beautifully!! QUASARCAKE's amazing illustration and HitoriMotion's gorgeous video really helped pull this entire concept together.
I hope my feelings can reach you!! Birthdays are always a sadge time for me but this year, while the sucky feelings didn't leave, I also cried tears of happiness for the first time in a while too. Thank you Galaxy Gang.
