You and I
As I fade away in your heart,
And your eyes no longer see,
I will stand on your shore
And always know you’re there.
Once more you’ll wake anew.

But I will fix my gaze on you

Hearts are funny aren’t they?
They never listen to reason.
Mine refused to move an inch,
