Every single thing about this season is tribute and respect to classic Precure. We have fights, like the original. We have the main girl tanking hits from baddies even without transforming, like the original. And we have one boyish fairy and one feminine one, just like Futari wa mascots, and Slappy and Choppy in Splash Star or any original season fairies. The part where she actually stood up to the baddie and got hit by him before she transformed was such a callback to the early days where Cure Black and and Cure White would still face the enemies head on, even if their transformation item was stolen. They would still be so brave, just like how Uta was in this episode

Kimi to idol precure is giving classic precure vibe are lead cure freaking out when they transform and also when they jump and now is time to fight with punching and kicking but let me say the animation feels so smooth and different from the other season. This year we are going to have a legendary cure because they were talking about what an idol precure. I love Uta so much and also when she have to waste her allowance and made her face I was Uta your like us when we have to waste are money mostly when we have to get Kimi to idol merch because we need the merch. This season is going to be a blast with music and dancing. I can't wait to see cure wink debut and cure kyun-kyun debut this concert was amazing. Kimi to idol precure you are going to be amazing.💖💙💜

It has just begun and it’s already one of my favorite episodes from this season, I don’t even know how to describe Uta because wow I really, really love her already and my personal favorite of the season and didn’t expect to laugh so much because the comedic timing was honestly just perfect and the fact Purirun asking Uta to spend was too funny. I always love it whenever a main reacts after becoming an precure for the first time and for me personally, her reaction was honestly my favorite because of how priceless it was and wow, she was quite relentless and I am a massive fan of her bravery and calmness. I am kinda in a similar position within the villians of this season because while I don’t dislike the male members of the group, I feel like the female villains this time around have the better character designs overall and I wholeheartedly agree because for a villian, she’s knows how to slay. And speaking of Idol Smiling, I was both wowed and surprised by how well animated it was, not to mention that I also agree wholeheartedly that Misato Matsuoka deserves a ton of creditability and high praise because she’s already done a beautiful job. And doing an Idol corner is such a super fun addition, lol!!! 🤡🥲🤣🔥 #precure

They went straight to the plot lol. Not a fan of idols but could feel the vibe, and I think they integrated this concepts very well!! Glad to know more about them. So far, Purirun is a 10/10, and Uta great leader material. I like all the villains as well, when summoning reminds me of Heartcatch in a way.

i am completely stunned by this pilot. I almost laughed out loud several times. The op song is great, and the visuals are so pretty. imo the ed is definitely one of the best precure eds in the entire franchise. its been on repeat for me I'm memorizing the song before next week. it's an actual certified diamond record, i dont make the rules man, Uta is such an appealing character, i actually dont mind the break between her debut and Wink's. usually im a bit impatient waiting for the full team to come together, but Uta is so entertaining she literally steals the show. oh and Purirun is baby and a lil guy :) i need Saturday to come faster, I'm so excited for the back to back bangers next week

I have no words this precure session is everything 😭!!!!! It's my favourite session forever, the little CGI animation in the start iconic 💖💙💜💛💚😭. There we're some space for Cure Zup-Kyun and Cure Kiss 😭 💛💚. Kokoro with the fans and Nana winking with pretty holic lipstick , they are iconic. The the animation just love it no time wasted fight like a badass samurai 😭. And the the hand in hand together infront of the Heartcatch tree iconic and the pose in last 😭. And the ending the girl's clapping cheering Fufu😭 so beautiful the slay so hard!!!!!. The lights scene when they move the crowd move as well 🤭. And the cheerful and rhythm the singing, dancing and fan service power everywhere just infinity wholesome even 😭. This comment tells you ,I'm now officially gone crazy for this session 😭. Uta is already the best character by far in this season and also we got cure idol doing homage to star twinkle/cure star remember when cure star does her attack star punch she swings her arm before she punches cure idol did the same thing but different and i love what they did for cure idol's attack cure idol starts singing or performing i should say also a throwback to star twinkle but in a different aspect when they start singing as they're transforming and then cure idol starts doing her attack it's so good.

You know that’s actually so true about idol corner because there a lot of fan’s doing it like from movies and even from fans that doing it from idol anime because it’s well popular in it from suite precure and from other from anime shows itself like sailor moon that was on stage even from stage shows that I know well because with idol anime it’s really felt like a very special and very interesting topic for it because it’s always very interesting to know that idol anime been around since Japanese has it and so popular as well even for Pokémon fans with themes as well, so thanks for mentioning it because it wouldn’t be idol without it being so popular for idol anime for most of the shows it has. Just one EP of You and Idol was better than the _entire_ season of Wonderful lmfao. Loving the comedic touch Uta has with Purirun, the villains give off this old school magical girl vibe to them, big bad monster of the week, and most importantly.... ACTUAL PHYSICAL COMBAT!!!! Also LOL at singing the monster to death, you got pwnt by an Idolmaster performance truly a fate worse than death hahahahaha. Precure is sooo back and it's just the first EP but I kinda like this world setting more than the past I'd say 3-4 seasons.

This season just gives me a really different vibe from the latest Precure seasons i think? It's really charming and unique in terms of vibe despite being a "traditional Precure season". It sort of feels more childish but less so at the same time? It kind of feels more like it wants to sell a product but it also feels more "natural". Kind of, like, the voice acting feels less anime-y, with Purirun sounding more like a child rather than a super high pitched fairy voice, and Uta sounding more like a normal girl, not really sounding super her age, but her inflections and tone sound much more natural than some other voices that give me more of an "anime"feel. I feel like the direction overall feels very different, as you said i really like the stylized frames where the lines get thicker or the coloring changes, and the scene where Purirun went away with the big guy and Uta watched from afar before fading into a "The End" image was very funny but in a different way from the funny that Precure usually is. I really hope this season maintains this level of quality, i think the only things i disliked were the opening song (the ending is much better imo), the transformation music, and the autotune when uta sang was a bit jarring but these are mostly just pet peeves, i really hope the season keeps going like this, if feels fresh but reminiscent of early seasons at the same time 🩷💙💜

Makes me SO EXCITED for more and it makes me think we're onto something great! I personally love Chiaki Kon, who's the director, and I believe she can do a gorgeous season for us!!

So far I have a bit mixed feelings about this episode and season, but overall quite liked it and want to give it more episodes to judge! I also don't want to sound negative when so many people celebrate new season. I like Uta as protagonist so far! She is quite level headed in contrast to Puririn and I liked how she deduced that singing to the monster may work, based on Puririn comments about "kirakira feelings". It's not like she confronted a big monster without any plan that would be reckless bravery.
