You and Me: Decisions (1985) - FULL EPISODE

Cosmo has a choice: finish her job and get the nice jewellery she's been promised, or go to the seaside with Harry and Dibs instead. It's a difficult decision, and she needs all the help on offer to make it. We also learn that sometimes it's necessary to change one's mind. This episode was originally broadcast on Wednesday, 23rd January, 1985.
Elsewhere, we're treated to an interesting piece about some children from (I think) the Isles of Scilly who need to go to school by boat, a song about five little men in a flying saucer, a practical joke at the end, and a re-used clip of Henry the Kangaroo searching for school signs. Harry Towb is the presenter on the market stall today, and let me know in the comments if you recognised the hymn the island kids are singing but haven't heard it since primary school assemblies.

I always watched You and Me and I used to love Cosmo and Dibs. Harry was a good presenter as well. I remember the section with Henry the Kangaroo and Ellie and her dad well. I can also remember at the end of this series, Henry "came" to Ellie's house and viewers got to see her mum as well and the section ended with them all watching You and Me. Ellie must be about 40 now.

So this was the series with the Kangaroo in it... I always remembered there being a series with an animated Kangaroo hopping around on a live action set, with the Kangaroo saying "toodle-ooo" as he hopped away into the distance, when I was little, but I couldn't for the life of me remember which series it was from (I remember it in part because my little brother adored the Kangaroo and was always sad when he did the "toodle-ooo" bit... You And Me was a series that I remembered mainly for the theme tune, and for Cosmo And Dibs, and I remember me and my brother both liked the show

I think they referred to Cosmo as she / her numerous times... However, as both voice actors were called Frances / Francis, I used to think that Dibs was supposed to be a girl too - my mum's name was Frances (she was usually called Frankie, though) and I didn't realise Francis was a boy's name until some years later!

I think the narration at 7:07 starts with "On Bryher...", and then they mention going to "Tresco" - both of which are amongst the Isles of Scilly.
