Context:
After the fourth class trail Kokichi was having nightmares and hallucinations of gonta and Miu with a gore-ish appearance. These demons would haunt Kokichi while he was awake or sleeping. One night it got bad that he started to laugh and there was blood dripping from Kokichis head and mouth. The hallucination was Miu and gonta calling him a idiot and it was making the blood seem like a black substance.
