Once upon a time back in the 80s, I had gotten my hair done and when I got home I went straight to the back yard to do some picking up. my husband came out on the deck and whistled at me. I did a big prissy pose and my husband went in for the camera. saying that he wanted a picture I reposed( my hair was a drastic change is why he made a big deal). when the pictures came back. I laughed at my picture then I noticed that a perfect image of my husband was laying on his back over my head. in his head was a yellow glow. in his body around his belly was a really large yellow light. then in his feet was a small yellow light.

When we renew our mind, we are replacing the old thoughts and ways with truth: God’s words are truth. We are calling unto the Lord, and bringing His word to the front of our mind. Calling unto the Lord is taking and partaking, or drinking of His Spirit and entitling: “in the Name of Jesus”. This should be the only spiritual connection we are entitled to partake of: Holy spiritual union, nothing soulish from ourself or with any other created being. And as we remember the words of spirit-life and the images we’ve seen as we read and hear biblical events, we enter into Christ’s process, learning of the Father and of living conformed to Christ’s image. We replace soulish things for godly spiritual things, being led by the Spirit. We are just skimming the deeper things of God in scripture! The potential we are understanding and appropriating is exciting!

The first thing we have to believe is the words someone tells you about talking to God. People don't always start out by believing God is so great, but when we doubters hear the Bible based word of God coming out of the mouths of Godly persons we begin to doubt our own foolish resistance. Christians habe a serious job on their hands... we have to learn HOW to deal (talk and work) with unbelievers in a pleasant, patient, strong, honest, non-judgmental way. Thats where Holy Spirit comes in; become a real friend with Holy Spirit and Jesus. Speak to them in an honest way and ask them to guide you and speak through you in all conversations with people. This is something that should be discussed more . The Church really doesn't have a defined teaching about how this all works exactly . I do think the Soul and Spirit of man are the same but as in the Temple their is different levels . Holy place most Holy Place etc So with the soul the spirit is the deeper most intimate part of the soul.

The carnal nature is always there once we are converted but it up to us to crucify the carnal nature and subject it to the spirit of HIM in us.

I've been so frustrated over the last few years because it seems like every grace and faith teacher says conflicting things. All teachers/preachers tend to do this, unfortunately. Not just those in the grace and faith movement. I've known about spirit/soul/body for a little bit now and, because of this video, I have a better understanding of why great men and women of God say conflicting things. Even those affiliated with the same ministries! Of course, ironically, I have to wonder if Curry is misinterpreting certain things because of his own filters and experiences. Nonetheless, I now have a better understanding on why Bible teachers often say different things than what other teachers say.

Excellent teaching brother. I do have a question that my pastor and I talk about at times. What part of your three fold chooses to either walk in the spirit or walk in the flesh? If the chose comes from your spirit, then the spirit is always willing, but your flesh is weak. I know your soul is your mind, will and emotions, so I would think that the chose of your soul is the only will that chooses the direction for spiritual growth, and in return to choosing the direction of your spirit to the Holy Spirit , then it will effect your whole soul and body.

At 33:20 Brother Curry explains that "...one little dot...of a persons mind gets renewed enough for them to understand they need to get born again". Previous to this, he explained that the way the mind became renewed was by first being born again in the Spirit then allowing the spirit to renew the mind. So my question is; how can someone's mind be renewed enough to realize they need to accept Jesus if their spirit is not already born again?

Being born again doesn't come from a renewed mind a person can only know that they need Jesus through the Holy Spirit. The Word of God says we can only know we need Jesus as Savior by the drawing of the Holy Spirit 😊

The Bible says that we ARE a new creation 2cor5:17, also Ezekiel 36:26-27 "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. SO a NEW spirit within you, also see Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, and John 1:12-13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. So it is 2 fold, it is not only the wineskin but the wine also that is regenerated, the old wine teaching remember that? We receive new wine, a new spirit, but new wine needs to be put into a new wineskin or else the old wineskin breaks and the wine is spilled and both are ruined! Since spiritual things go with spiritual things the new wine speaks of the spirit of God and the wineskin speaks of the human spirit. So it is both, we receive a new spirit (wine) we didn't have before which is the Holy Spirit, and we also are spiritually recreated brand new (wineskin), a new human spirit so that we can encapsulate and CARRY the HOLY SPIRIT. If God didn't recreate our human spirit we couldn't be compatible with God to carry Holy Spirit. Our recreated spirit is one that is fused and mingled with God Himself so the recreated human spirit is in union with God, this is the real us, 1Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him. So it is both, which is why we can both be united in oneness with the Lord and carry the Spirit of the Lord at the same time and they are both manifold intertwining realities that simultaneously exist. God did not create a spirit in the Garden of Eve . He created a man out of dust. He didn't put a soul or a spirit in man . He became a living soul as soon as he breath in Adams nostrils the breath of life , or spirit . No part of man was made to continue living after the body will return to the dust because no part of man was made immortal. Gen 3:22 God placed cherubins guarding the tree of live to make sure they will not eat of the tree and LIVE FOREVER. Death is really the cessation of life NOT SEPARATION as those who believe that death doesnt exist preach. Death is the last ENEMY that will be destroyed , no our best friend . To say that we are spirits is a total contradiction to Pauls preaching on the resurrection of the dead. Churches don't preach much about the subject because they all believe that their spirits or souls go to be with the lord at death , so who cares about a resurrection. 1 Cor 15:46 the spiritual is not FIRST, but the natural.....the man of dust.....and afterward the SPIRITUAL. 47 the first man was of the EARTH made of dust.....NOT a SPIRIT . We are made in the image of God , mortals and lower that the angels who are spirits. But we have the potential to become sons of God generated from above by his spirit and this process is only through the RESURRECCTION of the dead. What better example than Jesus himself, who came to give us life more abundant , immortality because you do not HAVE , none of that. Again , God did not create man with immortality , the angels are not subject to diying but can be destroyed. Man created in Gods image had the advantage of becoming immortal like him , but God knowing and having experience the rebellion of Satan who took a third of the angels with him , reserved immortality for man through Jesus Christ at the appointed time and place . Just imagine the generations of evil man on the earth had he not guarded the tree of life that would allow them to live forever....IMMORTAL EVIL SPIRITS on the earth that can not be destroyed . Worst that the disobedient angels , but these can be destroyed. No bible study about this subject could start in any other part of the bible, only at the beginning in Genesis where God tells us what kind of a unique new creature he created that didn't exist in his world and what does it says about his new creation. God is spirit , we are not . It is from his spirit that he generates life and we live because, he trough that spirit generated the power of life in a body of dust. He breath this energizing wind in Adams nostrils and Adam passed this breath to all mankind. Each of us have it and is known as the spirit in man . Unique in everyone of us , but it belongs to God and that is why goes back to him and the body to the dust. In the resurrection the dust will rise to a transformation and then and only then WE WILL BECOME SPIRITS IMMORTAL .

Elohim created the body. The body was lifeless, and then Elohim breathed/created a spirit in the body and man became a living soul, because of the spirit within that Elohim gave Man. Scripture teaches that without the spirit Mans' body is dead/lifeless. Animals do not have a "living" soul, only a soul, for they are not eternal beings.

+HDQuixz No, the gnostics put emphasis on only knowing. This teaching is based on Jesus teaching of renewing the spirit of your mind so that your soul lines up with your spirit and ends up manifesting in the flesh (i.e. healing etc.) I apologize if this is an overly generalized answer. But bottom line is Gnosticism focuses on only knowing hence the root word gnosis being only "knowledge of spiritual mysteries." Whereas this ministry's emphasis is on not just knowing the Word of God but doing it. But, not just doing the work (laying hands on the sick etc.) but assuring there's an actual change in your life (the old things pass away).If you go to their playlists on this youtube channel look for the Divine Healing Technician Training and the New Man. Those are the core teachings that help out a lot.

HDQuixz I wouldn't say for sure but he seems to be walking a fine line at times.. if I am not mistaken gnostics actually do focus on experiential knowledge from "any" form of human or divine doctrine (they include other sources than the Bible) this "untapped" knowledge from within is the true reality from which one can draw to make the world a better place. Gen 3:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. I don't think the Bible says we are a Spirit, it says we have a spirit and body but are a living soul. The soul is what truly differentiates us. The Lord Jesus bestows the Spirit which gives us new life when we are born again, however our soul has to choose to walk after his Spirit in us or the deeds of the body (the sin that lives in our flesh.) Rom 8: 9-17 Notice, the Spirit itself (Spirit of Christ) bears witness with our spirit that we are the Children of God. Yes, it is the Word of God that renews the mind training the soul to choose to be spiritual rather than carnal.
