Your videos are come at the right time as signs I guess Alhamdulillah. I was just thinking a few hours ago about i know music is haram and I still listen but as a revert i have a lot to work on. I am a weak human being but i am doing a great job i think. So I was thinking about if a video has music it's mean i shouldn't watch the video, so i can just skip. But sometimes they help me learn about islam and really a lot of ppl dont know music is haram and why is it haram. So idk i try to avoid and really these kind of viedos i watch for the speech and to grow my knowlage, and the music is not loud. But this is the beauty of islam, you always can do a research and discover more about it. :D I am so happy and can't be greatful enough to Allah for chose me and helped me to find my way to him! And we all should remember this sisters and brothers.

People often forget that sins have an effect on the heart for the long term You know there is a popular quote from a story of imam Al- Shafiee (الشافعي) , he went to his teacher imam Wakie to tell him about a problem he now suddenly has which is a decrease in memorization power. Wakie told him it's because of a sin he might have commited and since knowledge is light and guidence and the guidance and knowledge of Allah(knowledge about Allah) is not given to a sinner And you know what imam Shafie's sin was? Looking at the leg of a woman for a split second. We as an ummah have become so unaware of our sins that now we might not even count how many times we REMEMBER sinning, never mind actual sinning we dont know of or think about . May Allah guide all of us

from what i understand is that someone that just hears music is different from the one that listens to music, for example if i watch a video and it has background music then i think its not haram but if you purposefully listen to the music of your choice then its haram, but correct me if im wrong.

Is it possible to repent from it? Although it's too late now and the video is getting more and more popular? Does that still earn you more sin (If that makes sense) (kind of like a trap, after repenting, the video is still up there and you can't do anything about it and its gaining more views over time, will that keep earning you more sin)

Sometimes,i see vidéos of palestinians asking for help and for donations,and a lot of people share and boost (like and comment) these videos so it Can reach more people that Can donate. But sometimes,some palestinians add music in thèse videos. Then what about this? Or videos which aren't made by a palestinian or a Muslim,but which contain information about gaza to spread awarness. Most of the Time,they contain sad music aswell. What happens if we boost those to either help the person or spread more awarness.

I've heard about this a few times,and i try my best to avoid liking any shorts or videos like the ones mentionned. But I am still a bit confused on this matter, because i Wonder if somebody would get sins for doing well,let's say liking a cat video which contains music in it,even though his intention wasn't to share the music by itself or to go around and tell people to Come and listen to the audio. God did not forbid music in the Quran. it is however HARAM to declare haram that which God never made haram. im sure its not on purpose however do keep this in mind when you declare things like music as haram. thats sth only God can do. no hadiths or scholar can declare as haram what God did not! this would be a sin. i would honestly delete this video, its speculation tho kind in nature and with a good Intention in mind, you habe no textual evidence from the Quran. but it is haram to declare haram what God did not declare haram.

@mx1s-mi but show us a verse from the Qur'an, if possible. This is coming from a person who is stopping their music addiction so I already know music has a bad effect on the soul. But saying something is haram based on a hadith and not The Holy Quran??? I'd be scared to face Allah (swt) if I were in your position. I'd say music is bad but never haram, for Allah (swt) knows best. The commenter is not lying when bringing up the topic of which is haram or not. What can be declared haram is ONLY something Allah (swt) directly said, so in the Qur'an. I have immense respect for the effort put into gathering hadiths but I would be too scared to say something is haram when Allah (swt) didn't say it is haram in the Qur'an. Don't say I'm disrespecting the prophet (pbuh) or bukhari or all the scholars who talked about this, it would just be deflecting from my previous request. Where is it mentioned in the Holy Qur'an that musical instruments are haram?

Surely those who fabricate lies against Allah will never prosper. 116. This verse clearly shows that none but Allah has the right to declare a thing to be lawful or unlawful. Or, in other words, the right of making laws exclusively rests with Allah. Therefore, any person who will dare to decide about the lawful and the unlawful will transgress his powers. Of course, a person, who acknowledges the divine law as the final authority, may deduce from it whether a certain thing or action is lawful or unlawful. The arrogation of the right of determining the lawful and the unlawful has been declared to be a falsehood on Allah for two reasons: (1) Such a person, so to say, claims that what he declares to be lawful or unlawful, disregarding the authority of the divine Book, has been made lawful or unlawful by God. (2) He means to claim that Allah has given up the authority of making lawful and unlawful and has thus left man free to make his own laws for the conduct of life. It is obvious that each of these claims will be a falsehood and a false imputation to Allah.

Book 37, Number 6622: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them. The verse implies those who do not commit sin would not seek forgiveness from Allah. If you do not ask forgiveness from Allah, and by extension, do not remember Him, and don't glorify Him, you will lose your way. Besides, it's impossible for anyone to be sinless. That is the nature of humans, which is listed in both Christianity and Islam. Romans 3:23 says, I believe: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of god;"
