@@sethtedder7239 if a complicated self is true then I need to be truly accepting the consequences that come along. I'm sure sin caused a great deal of a disaster in my being. I'm aware of it's consequences n hence refrain from fulfilling its lustful passions

What are same sex attractions? What are same sex “thoughts” what are the “feelings” behind ssa? I have many people in my family dealing with this.. Because you can see someone and think that persons woman’s hair is nice, or think that mans beard is nice, my mom thought a woman looked really nice in a dress and casually said it, that’s not attraction. So what is same sex “attraction”?

smth like seeing a girl and wanting to be her friend so badly because not only you admire everything she does but also she’s so pretty, it’s feeling calm but also nervous at the same time when her head rests on your shoulder, and being afraid to move to not ruin the moment, its “i wish she was a boy” going through your head when she treats you with so much kindness that it melts your heart, its wanting to spend as much time as you can together because it just feels right, so warm and innocent, it’s feeling extremely guilty and anxious about everything once you realize, and not knowing if the guilt is coming from your heart or from everything you grew up hearing and how you were raised

A lot of studies say it does not exist and you can't be born with it. Its all learned behavior.

My 2nd question is what should i do if im gay but im Christian I question this because i dont know what to do and also im the only gay in my family and all of my family are homophobic im scared to tell my parents. ( sorry if my english are wrong because im not good enough😅) I ask this because i need help Thank you❤❤❤

hey, I'm a Christian currently struggling with SSA. to be blunt, you cannot be a Christian and be gay at the same time. you have to choose between indulging your sinful flesh vs eternal life. if you're in a situation when you see someone who you find attractive (either of the same or opposite sex), avert your eyes. think about a Bible verse. say a prayer. whatever you do, do *not* stay in that situation. if your family are Christians, they should not hate you for having these attractions because they've like been in places of sin before too. but you should tell them the truth hope this helps!
