PF won't beat Illuminati but I would bet money on it being able to one-shot most if not all Mephisto teams once the community works out exactly what characters to pair them with, given that you have a direct counter to Meph trauma and safeguard, plus the cleanse from Phoenix for the remaining Meph debuffs. NC and OML will very likely be two of the other characters on that team. How is that not valuable?

CC is a worthless mode for me unless I'm getting some kind of character shards. I do the minimum each week mainly for the battle pass points, that's it.

For the time being this guy will go to defense and just make another very strong defense. In CC Offense he really doesnt move the needle. I guess it makes easier two taps for some teams but that is it. He is joust going to make CC more miserable :S Said that, I think you might be wrong about the awakened abilities, I think they might be better than what you think. I think the Basic is also for the iso-8 (the way it is written in the blog it clearly seems that way -> "Basic Awakened ISO-8/Counter Attack/Assists Upgrade"). And the Passive, I think it will also be very useful for the striker attacks too as he applies bleeds in both his special and ult. So he goes, does the special, applies bleeds and when he does the striker attack enemies have bleed so they will have no armor so his basic is now "Piercing" (and then reduces the max HP from the other awakened). Assuming of course he is Striker and paired with someone faster than him (or someone that lands Vuls on passive like Iron Patriot). He really has to be Striker to work "properly".
