It was a boxing match with boxing rules, ring fights are completely different to street fights mentally speaking, Nnganou would beat almost everyone in a street fight and that’s no joke, yes he got knocked out in the ring with an amazing setup from Joshua but that’s a boxing drill that went well because Joshua’s team reviewed Nnganous weaknesses by playing back the tape, Nnganou will have learnt another lesson here about range in boxing. Joshua punched so well, they were all hard to read which reinforces that they were drilled to death before the fight, normally in previous fights Joshua is easier to read as slightly pulls the punches or twitches or loads up before the throw but he did an amazing job here.

Despite what you think, your opinion isn't fact. Nobody knows what would happen in the octagon, unless it actually happened, and it never will because there's just no incentive for Fury to take the risk. These are two giant guys though, who could be competitive in any type of combat sport, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility to imagine a situation with Fury winning. He could easily knockout anyone in a single punch, octagon or not. Same reason why Ngannou was able to put up a decent fight with Fury. Anyone that size and weight is dangerous. But the only fact so far, is that Fury beat Ngannou in a boxing ring, and no matter what Ngannou and his fans think, the judges gave the win to Tyson.

The man ain’t lying… the rules of boxing protect pure boxers from actual fighters. You make it a real fight and most boxers are getting dumped on their head and dominated. And I only say “most” boxers because I respect the fact that even the sport of boxing has some athletes (I.E. Terence Crawford) that have some legit ground skills, but not many.

But if it’s really only 1 vs 1, all MMA makes sense. So in real world 1 vs. 1 I bet on Ngannou, except against a few fighters like Jones. Even in his fight against Ngannou, Fury was beating him with points, and went to the ground; in real life, or in MMA, he would have received more punches on the ground, not simply lose a round 10-8.
