Chicago X, Chocolate Bar, was the 1st Chicago album I ever bought. I still have it. Before that, I listened to my dad's CTA and next few Chicago albums. This song has always been one of my favorites and I still know ever single word, horn note and idiosyncrasy. I sang along, 47 years later. This band is like peeling.back the curtain on the original recording sessions of Chicago. I'm immediately back in my bedroom with my record player.

Good Day, Jeff. Thanks so much for your channel and for your great insights on the music!! You're a blessing to music lovers!! Chicago X also contained, " If You Leave Me Now", which I believe won a Grammy. Leonid and Friends did such a faithful version of "You Are On My Mind" that you almost don't need to listen to the original Chicago version (but I suggest you do, just the same). The opening track, "Once or Twice" is a great tune with terrific vocals by Terry Kath. Rockin' l'il number, for sure. "You Are On My Mind" follows it. Enjoy and Ciao, Paisano!!

It's originally from Chicago X - it charted, but not too high. Terry Kath was still alive and with the band. This song was originally sung by composer and trombonist James Pankow
