I deliberately started talking to strangers back in 2021 and it has changed my life. So much so, I started a podcast this year documenting the various people I get to talk. For every guest I book, there is 10 that won't ever be a guest but I still get to have a healthy interaction with them!

So many good points here. So many of these dating coaches selling high-ticket products and making a killing have little verifiable evidence of their success - 99% of their content is them just talking to a camera. Also, Ive tried the approach he recommends against many times for years and this direct day game approach of saying you want to introduce yourself and you think theyre cute hasnt been effective for me. As you imagine, they're probably swarmed with men doing this all day and you just give away all your value and show you only care about her looks and it just makes you look low-value maybe even socially unintelligent and that you've already shown your hand. I wish the dating advice world wasn't so much garbage advice with good advice mixed in and you cant tell which is good advice.

Tamika Coleman here and I have many takeaways. One major takeaway is that I’ve missed many opportunities that could’ve by now positioned myself financially. I will talk to more strangers so that the forward motion can begin. Thanks for sharing this Tai.🙂

I took this to heart in 2021 and started a podcast in 2024 documenting the fantastic people I get to meet. To have one guest a week requires me to interact with at least 10-20 people a week to try to get them on as a guest :).

Try think of Introversion and Extroversion in terms of stimulus. And how long periods or intense stimulus affects different people. We are not all psychologically the same with different ways of managing things. Introverts and Extroverts are psychologically different.

Tai, what if we are not attractive woman?
@steamer2k3195 ай бұрын
It's tough but there are some things you can control: * Don't be out of shape. This will put you past a huge percentage of women. Even better if you're actually *in* shape. Not sure how much you can do with chest (maybe nutrition?) but abs and glutes should be in your control. * Have a friendly, nurturing attitude. Especially towards children. You can even "baby"/pamper men a bit if you get their permission. * Learn fashion/style/make-up. These can be done with greater or lesser skill. Men prefer women to have a natural beauty but we've also got to admit that makeup in the right hands can do very impressive things. * Develop other skills. If your goal is a long term relationship, domestic skills like cooking, couponing, interior decoration and sewing can add to a woman's attractiveness. Entertainment skills like acting, dancing, drawing, painting, playing an instrument, singing, story telling, etc. could help too. * Be fun. Nobody likes a dour fuss-monster. Play silly, meaningless games for the lulz. Laugh at off-color jokes if they're actually funny. Take some chances. Try new things. * Make sure your standards are realistic. There's a big difference between who's available for short-term vs. long-term relationships. Give shorter men a chance. Give working men a chance (e.g., ones who have rough hands because they don't earn much through scalable knowledge work). Give less physically fit men a chance.

I personally found my best boyfriends in circles where I persued interests, hobbies and sports as well as family and small gatherings that weren't party or work-related 🤷🏼♀️ Conversations usually start off with 'Oh, yes please, Id love another slice of garlic bread...', or 'Do you mind if I sit here, the smoke from the fire is in my face over there...' No cheesy pick up lines, just comfortable talk.... This 'picking up chicks' vibe... It has a low success rate for long term compatibility in my experience.
