Dude, this was by far my favorite episode of C3. I have multiple reasons for this. 1. I haven’t been the biggest fan of Ashton (I still loved him but he wasn’t my favorite of the bunch) but he’s coming into his own so well. Owning up to a lot of his mistakes and also funny as hell. The part where he thought Orym was wanting to kill him I legit laughed out loud at and replayed multiple times. 2. The truth telling task was so much fun to watch and felt very needed. Everyone had been hiding how they felt towards each other about some SERIOUS shit, and it was hysterical as well as heartbreaking at times. 3. The games Matt has come up with for them to play are just super unique and fun to watch. I know the crew loves each other and loves playing with each other every week but you could tell they were REALLY having fun in this episode. I love CR so damn much. Sorry for the rant and thanks for these highlights @marisharaygun. I legit watch them daily hahahah

I’m really excited to see how that next challenge goes! I did something similar with my players, during an adventure that was an homage to “The Thing”. The party was in a small outpost with a handful of NPCs that didn’t trust each other. When the party slept, I had whoever was on watch roll Perception checks. In the morning, I handed each player a note that would tell them whether they had been replaced by a doppelgänger or not. They were not allowed to share their notes and had to hand them back to me immediately. The twist was that everyone’s notes read: “You have not been replaced. Continue as normal. Do not react or they will know!” I wanted to sow suspicion among the players that someone was lying, wondering who the “they” was that was mentioned in the note.
