"Most people live life in quiet desperation" this quote is what came to mind listening to this. As a man on the brink of middle age, I find myself still stuck; rather, lost. I hope I get to achieve some form of immense fulfillment, something I can call success and take pride in. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I hope I don't die as a disappointment. I would hate to have wasted my potential and left nothing of value behind. I hope to become someone god will be pleased to welcome in the afterlife. To anyone still reading this, these are just the thoughts of someone you will never meet, thoughts that were never known or heard by anyone before you read this. EDIT: 30th October 2023 It's been almost half a year since I posted my comment on this video. Since then I've been working hard to figure things out for myself and find a way to achieve my version of success. I'm doing something in my country where my name will be a part of its history, and I will continue to do so until it's etched. Work wise, I've been pushing harder and getting out of my comfort zone, and I'm finally getting closer to becoming more secure. When I posted my first comment, I felt like a total disappointment to myself and others. But presently? Presently, I feel proud. But this is life. We all have to go through phases. Sometimes it's good and other times not so much. We just have to keep rolling with the punches life throws at us because we cant really understand and enjoy peace if we dont go through pain. I've decided that I'm going to keep editing on this post after every while since so many of you resonated with it. I feel it may help someone. Again, these are just the thoughts of someone you will never meet that were never known by anyone until you read them. Until the next time.

It’s never too late to expand your horizons and find ways to bless the lives of others. After I retired at age 68, I bought a grand piano and started taking piano lessons again. I quit piano lessons as a youth when I was in junior high school. I love it! I played piano at an assisted living center for the aged, earlier this week. A woman actually asked for my autograph! Crazy. I also prune people’s fruit trees and teach them how to prune, each Spring. Everyone has been sent to earth to help bear others burdens, and to bless their lives somehow.

is it inner peace or eternal sadness I am experiencing? Have I exhausted my supply of emotions or have I truly become at peace? These are the questions I must ask myself as I look upon a lonely universe and me as its last conscious mind. I have to be thankful to be given a chance to experience life in the first place. Now that I am the end of all mankind, the last drop of ink, the last mile, the last hope. I shall be nothing but grateful for everything I was given. Everything I got to experience in my short life. A universe dies with me. The cold and endless abyss can tear away my structure molecule by molecule and leave nothing but empty space. Because we were never whole in the first place. We all were missing something. The next big thing, the next goal, the next achievement that will finally make us happy. Now that I take my final breaths in this world. I remember nothing but the good times. Its like all the bad things never happened. Or maybe they weren't the things the universe wanted us to hold onto. It is human nature to forget the normal days and remember days of extreme happiness or sadness. But what we should really be grateful for and appreciate are the normal, fun and quiet days. I was a child, then a teen, then an adult, then a father, then an old man and now I am at the end of life. Alone, with no one but myself by my side. I feel so alone yet so connected to everyone and everything that ever happened. I was here, I saw, I listened, I felt and I enjoyed everything. this music is a reflection of my life. Once i was happy, enrgetic and able. But now, my brain can barely remember basic functions, my lips have fogorten how to smile, and my heart is sinking in tears. I am watching my body disintergrate with each passing hour. What once was, and what could have been clogging my thoughts. I am a spent force. As i type this, i wish i could have ended this with the rope or the pill, but it all failed. So now i'm stuck in the death of this crumbling shell i call a body, waiting to die. The only reason i force a breath is because i have a son and a wife to live for now. They think i'm the perfect father and husband, but behind my head i know i'm just a cheap scum on the face of a dying planet. i wish i was never born in the first place. It wouldn't be long before I passed, just like everyone else. As I drifted into the deep, sparkling depths of nothingness, I distantly pondered about everything that had occurred. It was too sudden. Too fleeting. It was nearly as if it had never happened. One moment, I was beholding our glittering jewel called Earth in the vast, despondent vacuum of space, just completing my first spacewalk, and the next... it was gone. Gone. Our beloved planet was enveloped in a bright, blinding explosion that came out of nowhere in particular. The ISS was also caught in the explosion, and with it, my entire space crew. But down below me, my friends and family, along with my home---which I spent my entire life in---were the first to go. And, due to the soundlessness of space, the explosion didn't even have the decency to make a sound. It would fall deaf to anyone's ears, almost as if it weren't worthy enough of a loss to be audible. I realized numbly that I was the only human left. The only one who grew up on that beautiful green planet that we took for granted and outlived everyone else. And I was going to die, too. My oxygen tank wasn't going to last much longer, and the explosion was coming for me. I knew that for certain. My time was running out. I looked around to see the brilliant, dazzling stars one last time, the corners of my lips curving upwards, almost forming a smile. Then, I blissfully closed my eyes, letting the fires of destruction take me.
