Yea, Gac all the way. Easy craft, tons of plates, Gac + Thor is lighter than a PACA. Less weight in, more loot out. Realistically I am not surviving more than a couple of hits to the chest anyway, it only needs to block 1-2 hits. Osprey though is the best when you are going climbing extracts. Neck, arms, GAC compatible. Good shit.

NFN Thor concelable with 1 lvl 5 front GAC plate and 1 lvl 4 plate at back with lvl 5 sides land me on around 5.5-6kg of total armor weight, thats what i usually run both for mobility and good coverage, im just farming gac plates through the rig crafts in the hideout so my supply never runs dry, i have a stock of a full thicc case filed with lvl 5 gacs,

It doesn't matter what plates you use when you are getting killed in 2 shots form 5.45pp wearing lvl 5 armor because 75% they miss plate, totally playable & enjoyable change.

@pityu2137 I solo dropped a 3 man on reserve today with 6.5mm express. All of them had lvl 5 armor. Unfortunately, it didn't do much to protect their faces 😢. After erasing 3 pmc's, 2 raider's , & probably 10 scavs, I got dropped by a scav myself 😭. Damn punisher part 5 & the Paca armor I'm forced to wear 😭😭😭

10 mins of the video and I learned that: Combined and Titanium have more total hp than other materials (like UHMWP and Combined did pre-armor rework). Armor and plate carriers behave differently but Osprey behaves like an armor. Bruh.

i sometimes wonder if i am doing a diservice by removing the Granit tier 5 plates from the Defender and throw in GaC plates because they weigh so much less. Are the Granite Ceramic plates better to have ? I dont see a reason to use the heavier level 5 plates once you have the GAC rig craft, any thoughts on this ? I hate being slow and overweight

@@DISTRUCTEN Don't worry about your accent, for the VAST majority of us native speakers - all European accents are welcome and fun to hear. Indians, Asians, Africans, Arabs - they all have somewhat tonal languages that conflict with the Germanic and Latin influences that English has, to a greater or lesser extent. ... Focus on correct grammar and spelling - since it will only make a bad impression if you don't master it. ESPECIALLY if you are going to embed subtitles. Maybe speak less if you don't feel like correcting them - honestly - because it's cancer watching someone totally butcher my language in writing. I would never write like this in my second language. EDIT guess you were just playing around at the start of the video?? Good Job otherwise.

I always use poly plates because they are light and offer high protection but also they don’t wear out as fast because they have a lower destructibility so that can be used in multiple fights before falling below 50% and also repair out of raid very well for reuse. Doing barter for hextec you’ll get 2 of these plates from the armor and I’ll put those plates in other armors with tier 3 soft aramid and side plates like ospray(p)

i just wear the Granit T5 in the press almost always returns in insurance extremely cheap can craft it the plate itself costs 50k the only issue is that it's locked behind lvl 36 - other than plate crafting that is the most affordable T5 thorax protection you can get

Ive been using the THOR with better plates as my go to for when i cant kit up more. Osprey, bagherly and ana m2 rigs are the only rigs I will actually buy, everything else is only useful for cutting weight. Gotta keep steel/titan/comb. up front and light ceramics in the back ideally.

I just buy the lvl 5 plates from fence, you can find them if you shop for a few minutes and refresh it like 10-15 times. sometimes you get lucky and find a very repairable one. I'm a noob with 30 days played and I have 7 KD so far. I like to keep my weight in the green, I run without a backpack a lot, just load up my rig and my pockets, rely on my injector case for the extra strength and stamina when I pick up dude's backpacks and put all their dead teammate's kit in it and run away, sprinting across the whole map with stims stacked up like a crackhead.

You can take all the math and calculating in the world and you will still die to random HP / buckshot into armpit or other area. Not mentioning cheaters and extract campers with Sp7 :)

Focus on quests, improving your hideout. There comes a point when you start feeling it's necessary to run level 5 or 6 plates.
