Wait a minute. If there has been more martyrdom just in the last century than any other time in history, then how can the martyrs described in revelation in the fifth and six seals refer to events in the first century? This is one of the many reasons I do not embrace preterism, let alone full preterism. I’ve been noticing too many times when you say “I think“ without backing it up from scripture or first century Jewish thought. That’s subjective wording, and many of the things in the book of revelation did not take place in the first century, and Revelation and the Olivet discourse indicate that these things will be the worst ever in human history and never will be again. So unless you believe that the future is going to be better on earth than it is now and better than in the first century, which you cannot support by scripture, I cannot embrace Preterism. I watched all of the previous clips, I plan on watching the rest, cause I’m curious how you’re going to explain significant individuals and events as taking place in the first century.
