It is a stronghold of darkness. You don't continue in it while at the same time claiming to study God's word. You can't continue in sin that grace may abound.

In my case, I became angry and restless in my Spirit, abstained from the act cried out to God for help in prayer and fasting, and allowed God's word to take root in my heart. Some might escape as in the case of that chap but you can't say continue and stay focused on God's word. Some are hooked to this addiction for 5, 10, 20, 30, .. even a life time. We can't continue in sin and expect grace to abound (Romans 6: 1-2). Grace finds expression when you release yourself to God. God won't do that for you.

But the advice should not be to continue watching porn. If he had said what you just said would be right, and Apostle Arome won’t have even commented. We should focus on the issues, not the individuals, as the content creator just claimed that Apsotle Arome is a false prophet. Meanwhile, God is using him mightily to build the church. Not everyone expressing their convictions is false; their insights could very well come from God. Dismissing them risks overlooking important truths. I was particularly shocked when I heard Abel say to "keep watching porn." Regardless of the context, someone struggling with sin might take that as a license to continue. Hence: Romans 6:1-2 (KJV): "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" 1 John 3:8 (KJV): "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

When Jesus met sinners he never encouraged them to continue in their sin and just add faith in Him to it. That is what we call tree of knowledge of good and evil. God is expecting a turnaround!!... That stronghold must first be pulled down violently via deliverance, and then you must be filled with the holy spirit that will help you to resist that sin from taking root again. You nailed it! What people do not know is that God visits people differently or delivers people differently. So you cannot prescribe any particular solution to get deliverance . The solution and directions must come from holy spirit depending on his leading . I am saying this because I struggled with porn and masturbations for over 22 years. But I became free not by scriptures or just prayers but by angelic visitation after a 4 days dry fasting and prayer.. You see, you can't box God... I can tell you that dry fasting is the way but I won't .. I'd only tell you to do the following (make certain kinds of prayers, read scripture,fast more and put your hope in God) Lastly, FEED THE SPIRIT MORE, NOT THE FLESH , RUN AWAY FROM THOSE CONTENTS, LISTEN TO MESSAGES FROM ANNIONTED MINISTERS he will give you power to do those things. It's a process. But that you just prescribe the word of God and leave it at that ...Na joke you de o.. solutions to different additions requires a different approach guided by the holy spirit.. I had Damina preach on one TV stations 10yrs ago , it was a long preaching I think it was a conference. I loved the guy I wanted to keep listening. When you try to stop sin on your own you keep on falling and rising and most time you become worse cause Jesus talked about the spirit that returns with its friends. But when you do as he advises , time comes that sin can't stand anymore for light and darkness can't dwell together.

With due respect to Exousia and Dr Damina, let us follow the Bible. "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other." (Matthew 6:24). The Bible commands, "do not give a foothold to the devil." ( Ephesians 4:27). We are to submit to God and resist the devil (James 4:27-28). And we can resist any habit or addiction by actively putting up strong resistance to it's influence. If we sincerely do what we supposed to do by faith, God's grace is sufficient for us to accomplish all.

You see, this is what happens if you don’t know the scriptures. You will take everything you are told, once someone can convince you that is what the scripture is saying. Hence: Romans 6:1-2 (KJV): "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" You need to start your journey of studying the word today, diligently for yourself. Listening to sermons is important but not enough.

Thoughts and actions are garbage in garbage out, feed more on the word of God and less on the irrelevant materials of lust and the thoughts of the heart will become healthy eventually, then the irrelevant which is all categories of lust (sinfulness) dies naturally. That's Dr Damina's teaching which is no rocket science. Those who want to stifle your exposure to the truth of Dr. Damina's teachings will always quote him out of context. But it's clearly a waste of time because the word is too powerful to be subdued.

Abel’s arguments have little to do with Apostle Arome, yet you presented them in a way that suggests Abel was addressing him directly. Those statements were before Apostle Arome's necessary critique. And Apostle had never said that Abel is attacking the body of Christ. Abel has made some questionable claims, such as saying God cannot kill (including suggesting that it was Satan who killed the Egyptian army in the Red Sea). He also claimed that God didn’t instruct Noah to build the ark, which distorts biblical truth. Furthermore, correction is an essential part of spiritual growth, as shown when Paul corrected Peter. Labeling someone a false preacher for bringing correction is not a godly response. We should focus on the issues, not the individuals. Not everyone expressing their convictions is false; their insights could very well come from God. Dismissing them risks overlooking important truths. I was particularly shocked when I heard Abel say to "keep watching porn." Regardless of the context, someone struggling with sin might take that as a license to continue. Let’s aim for constructive dialogue centered on scriptural integrity. Romans 6:1-2 (KJV): "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. when you engage in porn/sin, the holy Spirit that should give you understanding of the scriptures and enables you to be free leaves. U can't be changed engaging in sin. the changing the Bible was referring to is Transformation of a believer but for porn u need repentance. Damina knows scriptures but lacks/ needs the holy Spirit. Salvation is the life of God in U enabling U to stay pure.
