My friend/ room mate just had a cardiac arrest and she had AFib and a FitBit watch she was 60 5'5" 290 lbs and had Parkinson's for about 5 years Did AFib kill her ? She was taking 2 prescriptions for her AFib

@@susananderson9619 I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. I wasn’t saying that Fitbit would prevent it, but mine for the last two years has been spot on with the readings my cardiologist gets in his office and he wants me to have it on at all times (except when charging). I know how expensive an Apple Watch can be and I was merely offering a less expensive product. They have $200-$300 machines to check it also, but if you can’t get to a facility in time when the “attack” is happening you won’t make it. If my comment appeared to be unfeeling, I’m sorry. It wasn’t made to be hurtful. I’m just lucky that my device has been so accurate and it hasn’t been my time “to go home yet.” My prayers for you, your family and your friend and her family.

Let the other doctors give advice and their thoughts. Not just ONE of you. Multiple opinions are better, I believe in the older generation of medicine when it was “more personal” and “less institutional” that was the case and we felt more confidence that we were being treated as a “human being” and not just a number and had confidence in our doctor!!!!
