Please can you share UK pricing and cost of additional driver assist packages (which are included features on other similar cars) as well as mileage. Not sure why these things are being kept out of the conversation 🤔

I think a year ago they probably thought they could get away with pricing starting at £45K, but now with quite a few 'pretty decent' cars coming from China driving down EV prices, (such as BYD & MG etc), theyre going to be starting the range at around £35K.

Has anyone managed to get a cost for the UK models out of them, every time i ask the dealer they say "we will know in 2 weeks time" that was early January, seems like they don't really know where to pitch it

£39,000 was what I was told on Friday.

The dealer i manged to speak to on Friday (Paynes of Hinckley) said, £40k for the SELECT 52kw, £47k for the Premium 52kw, and £54k for the AWD 52kw. £46k for the SELECT 72kw, £50k for the Premium 72kw, and £54k for the AWD 72kw. As for the range, they told me 329 miles for the 52kw and 374 miles for the 72kw SELECT, the 72kw Premium range 350 miles and 329 miles for the AWD. I also asked about the reduced price as part of JLR scheme and they did not know if this model would be included. Considering all of the advertising their doing, i all seems a bit woolly that they don't seem to have the pricing sorted and being able to confirm which models can be ordered and when.

It’s not just Ford, but why is there such a price increase for different colours? Why isn’t the website updated to show what is being offered. I keep getting Ford phoning me asking if I’m still interested after looking at the Mustang, but waiting 2 years for this Explorer … being 72, I hope I get to see one in a showroom at least

I cant believe that it doesnt come with a heat pump as standard fitment! If the EX30 & Renault 5 come with a heat pump as standard, why is Ford demanding that its customers pay an extra £1K for one?

Well you've pitched it better than the Volvo EX30 who's team appears to have stripped back the features and interior too much to focus on sustainability but if you price the Ford Explorer wrong, you will lose sales to them. Careful with the pricing especially with the Driver Assistance pack add on. Waiting to see later in March before we place the order..

Hi there, on release the Ford Explorer will not have the bluecruise feature. However, we are working to have this added to more vehicles in the near future. ^Bailey

Non comital answers. A smaller trunk than most of its competitors, no detail on battery sizes or miles per KW. Best of all no release date.

Did they actually answer any questions... smoke and mirrors. No frunk to put more room at your finger tips wtf does that mean lol. Will be overpriced and low on range for sure. That colour is horrendous as well by the way.
