Thank you for this, strangely today was a bad day for me and I would consider myself to be awake and always understand when to balance, but today I really looked in the mirror and saw somebody else I didn’t want to be, (older self) the whole day I was doing damage control, but the feeling was still there, then I saw your video being recommended to me. You reminded me what I should have not been slacking in, MEDITATION.

Good call, my sister! I got lazy and stopped doing transcendental meditation a few months ago, and I’m starting again. Somehow or another, another video from this gentleman came into my newsfeed, and it really got me thinking that I need to get back into it.

THE SIMPLER WAY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS ALL THE TIME: When you receive all things with thankfulness you will experience the peace that passes all understanding, and enjoy ALL that is life. You will enjoy your mind, its thoughts, your personality, nothing will bother you. You will never suffer again. You will enjoy your needs, wants, desires. You can be attached, entangled and identified mentally, emotionally, physically with people, places, and things. YOU CAN ENJOY ALL THAT IS LIFE. I’ve lived that way for 76 years. Thankfulness is a mind-set, an attitude, a perspective that changes your life. It works for me. Just say to yourself, “Thank you that I am having experiences.” THAT’S ALL FOLKS.

Does thankfulness change your behavior? I’m trying to change some destructive behavior of mine (this avatar), but I’m always in this state of all is well and things just continue to deteriorate.

@@feelflowfree life is about having experiences, nothing more. your avatar's destructive behavior is an experience, be thankful for it. it works for me, and life is bliss.

This just struck a Major chord and tempo change for me! Realizing that if I surrendered I could live in this life like a lucid dream. I used to try to always lucid dream... Why not try lucid waking lol

It's funny that I'm just now fully waking up and fully grasping this. It took over two decades since I first started to practice mindfulness meditation for my awareness which is me to be fully realized and to finally see my thoughts as not me. I first found Rupert Spira and was starting to realize it a little bit but it wasn't until I listened to one of David Parrish's videos that it truly sunk in. David explained this in such a way that it opened my mind up to my true nature which is pure loving and unbounded awareness, the direct path that Rupert was talking about. I also need to give credit to the channel, Awaken The World Film and their wonderful documentaries on Samadi. 🧘♀️👍👽🛸🕉

My perspective on life underwent a profound transformation when I embraced spirituality and delved into consciousness work. Through this journey, I learned to let go of my ego, reaching a state of inner stillness and tranquility that I had never known before. This shift led to a significant change in my values, especially after experiencing what is often referred to as The Dark Night of the Soul. However, I have found that to engage in everyday conversations, I often feel compelled to betray my authentic self. This means participating in discussions about topics like shopping, events, sports, and other mundane things, which hold little to no interest for me. Engaging in these types of conversations not only feels like a waste of time but also places a significant amount of pressure on me. My mind constantly reminds me that I could be using that time for more productive pursuits that contribute to my personal growth and development. I have noticed that many people, particularly women, seem uninterested in discussing deeper subjects such as truth, spirituality, or philosophy. This observation leaves me feeling isolated and misunderstood, as I yearn for conversations that reflect my true interests and values. I wonder if others have experienced similar feelings. Is it common to feel this way after undergoing such a transformation? Is there something inherently wrong with me for struggling to engage in conventional social interactions?

What comes to mind, and from personal experience is, “beware of idle chatter.” It’s so boring. I have a small group of people I engage with on things that actually have depth and weight, not pedestrian nonsense.

wouldn’t taking a vow be the personality doing so? One should meditate when it happens. nothing should be forced
