This is a really interesting take on this song. I’ve seen other videos featuring this particular song, but this is really unique. It can be applicable in this sense because throughout the series, Marinette does sometimes view her Ladybug persona as a completely separate person, even though she is the one who wears the mask. When she starts to see Cat Noir, aka Adrien, differently when he’s the hero and she a normal girl, she starts to realize just how important he is to her, which in turn can help her come up with other ways to show him that even though she doesn’t love him romantically, she still cares for him. As for Adrien, even if he gets hurt by Ladybug’s rejections as Cat Noir, he still finds comfort in Marinette, which in turn makes him realize that she is much more important to him than he initially thought. In a way, I kind of see this video as an AU. A very fun one, though; where Marinette eventually finds herself competing with her Ladybug self for Cat Noir, aka Adrien’s, affections.

Though I guess in the show it’s more her unknowingly competing against herself since she knows Adrien likes somebody just doesn’t realize it’s herself. 🤔😅🤦🏽‍♀️ It would be kind of funny in an Au story though - like as Ladybug she’s purposely trying to get him not to like her and appreciate her civilian self but it takes him a long time to see it. 🤦🏽‍♀️😆🙃😅
