So I am a complete beginner who has never played a string instrument before and I picked up my uke and started practicing throughout the day and I woke up this mornin and began practicing the more advanced strumming pattern, guys it's really not too bad! After about 30 mins of it I pretty much have it down just needed a little bit of practice.

Elise, I want to tell you something. I've had my very first ukulele for exactly 3 weeks. Sort of obsessed right now and I've learned a few really good songs that I actually like more. But this was the first song I learned and I can play it in my sleep. Whenever I'm just walking around with my first "baby" ( I already have a second that I don't like as much) and I just don't know what to practice at the time, or I feel a little bummed, I just go back to playing this song, and it helps. One thing I find helpful in these types of videos is either at the end or beginning, play the whole song all the way through and not just a bit of it so we know what it all sounds like and can play along. But good video in the end 😌
