Darren Day looks like he couldn't care less. He is completely bored with the whole thing. He is a perfectly adequate presenter and that's it. There are at least 4 better presenters on the show. You can see young Dec, after watching the motorbikes, thinking to himself "I'm going to do that in a few years time, fall off and break my wrist".

He was following on from Matthew Kelly, who really made the show his own. Tough ask, and also he probably knew the show was on its last legs. You Bet! was axed at the end of this series, and replaced with Don't Try This At Home.
