Most if not all legendaries/mythicals have one universal name, so he would have always known the Shaymin was there regardless of the language he picked. However, a more fair question would be "From left to right, what are the [any non english language] names of these 3 Pokemon?" If nothing has a universal name then its a pure gamble if you don't recognize any of them.

I feel like intimidate would win over contrary solely due to consistency intimidate will always work (unless an ability prevents) but with contrary you have to be able to set up and also pray they don’t use any debuff moves cause one screech and your screwed

Hi Luke, Thought it might be a cool idea to have some kind of video where your pick also affects your opponents pokemon, For example you pick a pokemon, but then the next person to pick will get to use the ability of the pokemon you picked. The first picked pokemon could then get the ability of your opponents last picked pokemon.
