I had a lot of fun doing it because Kyo = the man of my dreams (maybe because my ultimate crush in real life looks like two drops of water) but well I think we all dream of a story that we dream of all! I think my favorite part of this ship is how, with all the other Zodiac members, they had a moment of intense loneliness when their curse broke. But Kyo was so focused on the moment he was in with Tohru, that ge didn't even notice his cat spirit had left and he went straight for the hug with NO hesitation that he would turn into a cat in the middle of a busy town square. Nothing else mattered to him all of the people melted into a background he cared nothing about. Only his love of Tohru, and the happiness he felt at finally allowing himself to accept her mutual feelings for him. It's so sweet and beautiful and I am soooo happy they put this love story to animation :)

Beautiful explanation. Also in the original promise, the cat did not care about having an eternal banquet. He told the god that it was okay to have spent just one lifetime. That was why the original cat was not really attached but the present one, Kyo wanted to join the Souma family because he forgot the original promise.
