I frequently speak in metaphor, and have discovered that some people do not understand metaphor. They take everything literally. I have been told that I speak in riddles, and had people get upset, because they don't understand what I am saying. It's made me rethink how I speak to people.

It was me as well. The toxic people around me, I left for 3 weeks and I didn't find a place I can stay I had to come back. I was stopped from getting a sandwich by the 81 yr old parent who has always hated me. My last sibling past and I safed the family home. They each lived here until they passed before age 60. I am 58 and 8 months. I have to find away to save myself. I knew better but tried to do what was expected of me. It's not worth loosing me.

There's an increase in the number of people now being told they are on the autism spectrum - most of them, but not all, are extremely literal. They just don't 'get' metaphor. Don't rethink and don't explain - just be yourself. If someone misunderstands don't be in their company if you can avoid them. They are not for you. 🥰

Absolutely not I’m too broken and traumatized, and am not living through another healing process. Constructive outcomes rest on the horrific idiotic monsters who tortured me to death and broke half a decade of obsessive phobic commitment to resilience in healing for h, invalid or inversed wrong reasons. I need to no matter the sustained compensation.
