I don't often purchase armor sets, but this is a must buy for me. It's not only a samurai armor, but it also adds +25% damage(!) if your weapon(s) is ignited. Assuming this effect works with single weapons and not just with dual wielding, I can think of plenty of options to break this weapon set in half. The katanas that come with this set are transmog fodder. Think of all the weapons that get better when ignited, or ignite on their own, etc... The Ghost samurai set with the blue candle flame Scythe would be sick. Not to mention all the flame-based weapons from Ragnarok, or the flame-based 2h swords. This is one of the strongest sets to come out in a long, long time.

Too bad the sword combat in Valhalla is pretty subpar. Couldn’t they introduce an actual katana complete with new moves suited for this particular weapon? I mean they did this with the Ireland DLC and the curved sickle weapon. Complete new set of moves for Eivor for Ireland DLC but with the katanas is just the same wild hacking swings as a regular short sword animation. Pretty lame and uninspiring. Kinda defeats the purpose of cool various new weapons if the animations are all the same universally.

So lightsabers and samurai armor are now coming to the Helix store.... 🤔😐. It's cool to see especially for some early promotional ideas for what AC Red could be like. Personally still haven't found any justification to purchase microtransactions from the Helix store because I don't support this kind of practice, but there are people out there that do. #HoldUbisoftAccountable, vote with your wallets, and don't support this. Buying this type of content just shows Ubisoft that you give them an inch and they will take a mile, XP boosters, in game currency booster,.. timesavers, etc... What else do you want them to do? The argument of if you don't like it just don't buy it does not hold water. Other KZbinrs have talked about this kind of issue
