Two things: first, I appreciate that in this episode the son is teaching the father! Second, there is a quote by Lao Tzu which I think relates a little bit to the father's predicament: “If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.” Thank you for these videos, they are very wise and helpful!

I couldn't resonate more with this and a little story will illuminate why. Junior year in college, I suffered a collapsed lung at the age of 20. How your father was in the hospital, like I, just wanting to breathe. I was well into my collapsed lung. I am greatful for the life I did not lose. And now studying premed when I graduated with economics. To one day give someone the sense of greatfulness as I recieved.

Too cute! I so miss my friend (Persian Jew) - he has the most Philosophical Stories - handed down through the generations. He is absolutely naturally hysterical, speaks 5 languages - and his English with a light accent, (born in Iran - had to move to US back when he was a child, when the Shaw passed) - Drives his Mom nuts - (Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister and their Partners all live in Israel - Uncles in the USA) Mom is constant in prayer, I'm sure - he won't consider marriage and keeps dating non-Judah Religion Girls - lol - ahhhhh - and he would be a great dad and partner (most the time - can be irritable and it is that sort of touch that makes him so ethnically unique - Dad is Persian, Mom is Sicilian - need I say More??? lol) Anyways - a true REAL Friend - and separated by app 2000 miles - lost phone number when phone crashed some 5 years ago. Took me some Efforts - but found an address to his Uncle - About to send a card! God - I pray he is happy, healthy, financially balanced, AND Dating a Nice Jewish Girl!!! Keeping good thoughts and thankful for my "friend". Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could freely travel to Iran and Iraq - the Ancient lands - without challenges by - those whose minds have yet to evolve beyond Ego - allowing for the greater experiences of Living Life in this Life Journey. Think Peace and Solutions - Think truths and the revealing of those whom truly hold the masses back with their Fostered Prejudices, paranoias, and fears - for the Profits and the Power - through their ownership of 99% of all MS News Media, the "AP", and all the Financial Venues/FED and Central Banks. We can apply Solution Thoughts, See the Greater Goodness, and Believe in Benevolent Outcomes... Missing Kevin and the late Larry Cohen - 2 of the best men and best friends I have been blessed to have in my life.
