For those who want to unlock Hyper Street Fighter Alpha: First you must beat all games' Arcade Mode on any difficulty. Then after you beat Alpha 3, you must beat its updated version, Alpha 3 Upper, on any difficulty. To play A3 Upper, highlight Alpha 3 at the start menu hold select and press any button. You can tell its the upper version by a different looking title screen (the 3 has an up arrow), and more characters such as Fei Long, Deejay etc. Once this is all done, highlight Street Fighter Alpha, hold select and press any button and HSFA will be available. Have fun playing!

To parry, you select Blue S-Ism as your fighting style. Select a Alpha 3 version character, highlight Mazi style, hold Start and press left or right, and press any button. This fighting style has X-Ism's moveset and lets you press forward to parry high attacks and down to parry low attacks, like CvS2 P-Groove or SF3. Now if you want something really weird, try holding Start while you select the Alpha 2 version of Sagat or M. Bison (Dictator). Did you know Missingno was in this game?

anthology has special editions that enable special characters and mechanics like parrying and target combos. you can also use boss bison from alpha 3, Dark Sakura, and even an inescapable raging demon.

You can tell by the background it's MUGEN. The characters are slightly smaller with a wider room to play going from left to right. Many of the Mortal Kombat mugen games have characters slightly smaller and wider area to place also.

They did not even add the most complete version of SF:A3 with additional characters. I was so bumped out when I find out that Fei Long and T.Hawk are missing. Both were my mains and I was excited to use them online.

No. It's a secret mode available in the PS2 Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, known as Hyper Street Fighter Alpha. That's a few secret ISMs that take inspiration from other capcom titles at the time. This one is the 3rd Strike ISM.
